Peer Tutoring
R esearch shows that peer tutoring is very effective and has many benefits. Students feel more comfortable learning from their peer than from an adult. Peers can identify what process of learning another student needs in order to understand the concept. They can recall how they came to understand the subject and which teaching method worked best for them. The student can also relate to peer tutor better because of their proximity in age.
